when you think of shooting a sport like tennis, already you have in your mind what the athletes are going to look like: agile poses of intense concentration where the racket is held in perfect form and aligned with the ball...

maybe it's because i'm shooting div iii college tennis, but the truth is that tennis players rarely look like that. often times they hold their arms at awkward angles and stand in weird poses.

i wonder how pro photographers manage to make the sport look so graceful and pretty
