Paraparaumu Beach

This is where the Churton Park Staggerers staggered today and to add to the  deliciousness of the outing there was a picnic lunch with wonderful homemade olive bread and lashings of butter (made in NZ of course). 
Its 54 km from Wellington but half that from Churton Park where the walks start.
11.5 Km so Ice cream for desert...
Sigh...
