Very quiet day spent working and not doing a lot else besides.

I did find the time to start gathering some bits and pieces for my fishing trip next week and went for a late, very wet evening walk.

Might be time to dial back on the news intake, as there seems to be a never-ending parade of stupid out there. Then there is the devastating footage of the explosion in Lebanon. The sheer power of it was it truly shocking. Those poor people.

It’s no wonder that two days sat by a lake in the middle of nowhere with friends, talking twaddle is suddenly all the more appealing...
