First day back after a couple off, and it normally drags. Today absolutely sped by, and I barely had time to finish anything! Headless chicken mode by the end of the day.

Home to find Matt asleep, but a delicious dinner cooked ready for me.

Was due to start work at 7am tomorrow so was just getting ready for my early night when Sandra text to tell me that my planned morning job had been cancelled last minute. Supposedly the decision had been made centrally to “help with staff workload” but considering I’ve spent the last week prepping for it, changing rotas, drawing up plans, and will have to do it all again in a fortnight instead... not that helpful.
