Wash out

Absolutely drenching day - non stop heavy wet rain from getting up til bed time. Yuk!
We had a (rather better than expected) breakfast of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon at the hotel before leaving and travelling home via a drive alongside Loch Tay and a stop at Callander for coffee. Too wet to stop and take a drookit photo of miserable sheep huddled against the driving rain with the misty grey light even though it did look very atmospheric (being generous!)
Stopped at the Dovecot gallery to see a Mary Quant and Terence Conran exhibition of 60s and 70s fashion and design....I used to have some of these liquid eye shadows in my grubby 6th form make up bag!
Had a wet wander round Morningside to look in the art gallery and then bought some ingredients in Waitrose for a homemade comfort food moussaka at home. 
Closed the shutters and watched a couple of feel good films in the evening. What a day. Where's summer gone?!
