Wet Wednesday

An improvement on yesterday's constant rain, but I stupidly didn't get out for a walk while it was dry in the morning, so enjoyed a light drizzle in the afternoon instead.

This large field has been lying empty for years, so it was a nice surprise to see it being used by these coos. Note the big puddle on the left, a result of the recent rain.

Big pot of soup made this morning to use up a very old sweet potato and some carrots, then made more interesting with the addition of a few spices.
