Lots of rain was forecast so I decided to choose all the relevant and interesting documents, letters, postcards, photos and more that came from my Aunt’s house and get them into one box. Hope I’ve made the right decisions on what to keep.

This ration book belonged to my Grandma and is one of the keepers. Interesting to see the date ........ I’ve just found out that rationing continued until July 1954. History was never my strongpoint.

I should be issued with one which covers chocolate, biscuits and wine :)
