Blessed

Another day of heavy rain cleared up in the late afternoon, and when the (rebranded) "Pentland Fun Runners" outing began at six, the sun started breaking through. We completed a classic loop above Ninemileburn, branching out to take in West Kip. This photo was taken as I prepared for the descent. It's too steep, to be fun, unlike the subsequent descent of the Monk's Rig!

Earlier, I'd dropped A off at the airport, where she flew to Lyon for a fortnight with her mother and sisters.
