Plastic fantastic

Bought this construction kit in a charity shop a few years ago. Been building the model off and on for several months now and greatly enjoying the process, 
Somewhat like Petrocelli's house I do wonder whether it will ever be finished.
When complete it will be a 1:24 scale Mk Vb Supermarine Spitfire.
