Echinacea

Knowing that it was due to rain late morning onwards, I took a short walk around the site this morning in search of a blip. I love this Echinacea and am frustrated that I failed in my efforts this year to grow it, even though the plug plants I ordered were rubbish. This is what I envisioned.
I was hoping for some action from the wildlife pond today but it was not to be. There have been quite a few species using it - lots of sparrows and goodies and today I saw a pied wagtail and greenfinch to add to my list but they were too far away and anyway it was raining!
We spent most of the day playing games and reading. A lovely day relaxing.
