Mystery fruit

So, I now know that the dodgy cucumber plants we bought in a hurry at the start of lockdown are ridge cucumbers meant for growing outside.  They need peeling but taste good. 
Annoyingly,  I've been removing the many male flowers for the past few weeks which you need to do with indoor cucumbers if they aren't all female varieties.  I now know that these need to be fertilised!
