Backhouse Rossie

I met my mum and dad at Backhouse Rossie estate in Fife. This was the first day it had reopened and there were good precautions in place. The Walled Garden was looking good in particular the dahlias that were in full bloom. We then walked through woodland to the Covenanters grave. 
After a light lunch in the outdoor cafe we drove to the nearby village of Falkland. The palace gardens are open to everyone at the moment. Another walk round gardens and through the woods to the Falkland estate. Conveniently we came out at the cafe, we had a cup of tea just before the light drizzle turned heavier.
Started another crocheted baby blanket this evening.
