The day we reconquered the supermarket
Today James went to the supermarket for the first time since the pandemic. He was very excited. We got snacks.
Here is one of the local fruit and veg stalls on the high street. It’s done particularly well out of the pandemic I think, being open air etc., especially during that crazy period when there was no food. Remember that? Seems like a dream now! I remember my friend went to my flat to pick up my glasses and post them to me, and she took a loo roll as a thank-you. Can you imagine that now?!
I can already feel my determination to get a brexit cupboard fading into nothingness on account of that fact that, actually, it turned out fine. Perhaps a second wave storage box. Although it turns out you can make your loo roll last a very long time by just using less.
