Typewriter

Ah, the memories! Of the old typewriter we used to have at home, that I used to spend hours bashing away on, copying out the beginning of Alice in Wonderland, I seem to remember.

And then the hours of typing during my secretarial course.

And then the hours of typing up my shorthand notes when I first started work (British Telecom International, was my first job, as secretary to the General Manager).

And still the hours working on a keyboard, although most people do the same thing now.

Things have got slightly more sophisticated over the years, but the old touch-typing skills still come in very useful.
