Stalin ate my homework?

For several years the University of Liverpool have offered FREE Public Lectures. Last year we went to see/hear Willy Russell. As well as being a brilliant playwright and author (Educating Rita, Shirley Valentine, etc), Willy Russell is an excellent speaker.

Yesterday, I received these invitations to attend any of the 2009 lectures, which are held at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. I have booked seats to hear Alexei Sayle: his lecture is titled "Stalin ate my homework: growing up in the radical environment of post-war Liverpool".

That is exactly what I did! - Grew up in post-war Liverpool - NOT ate my homework?

Should be good(ish)?
