Rebuilt

Thanks for all the kind comments about Polly. The house seems very quiet and empty today. It’s going to take us all a while to get used to her not being around.

Mr DA and I went for a walk to Bramshott this evening and, as we cut through the churchyard, I saw a plaque on the wall that I hadn’t noticed before. I climbed through the undergrowth to get a better look and it says:

This wall was rebuilt after the great hurricane of Friday October 16th 1987
