Another new arrival

It was good to get a bit of weeding done again today. The pesky things thrived in the wet weather in July and the wet weather in turn didn't allow me to tackle them. One positive thing I found today is that weeds are much easier to uproot when the ground isn't as hard as as it was back in April and May.

Whatever this plant is, it's adding a nice splash of white to the garden and contrasts well with the phlox which is approaching the end of its flowering.
