Pre Autumn tidying of the annuals in the borders that have finished flowering and a feed for the roses.
I was at the Garden Centre early doors this morning to get some multicompost and a couple of perennials that will fit into spare spaces.
Also a birthday gift for my friend who is coming here this afternoon to sit in the garden and have a scone with jam with a cuppa or a choice of a cold drink. (Non alcoholic as she is driving here).
It’s very warm but fairly cloudy with a light breeze. Also what I call “muggy”.My mum would have said “enervating”.
Soon be time for lunch.
