Birthday Pottery

A lovely summers day spent mostly relaxing in the garden along with the hundreds of little black harvest flies which are wont to appear at this time of year! 

Glad I wasn’t travelling over the Rest and Be Thankful this week after seeing the devastation caused by heavy rain yesterday! It can’t be that long since the road fully reopened after the last rock falls as they were still working on it when we passed through in May last year.

Today’s abstract comes courtesy of one of the pieces of pottery I got for my birthday. A piece of Ravn Clay...a new start company in Northumberland about to set up business on Holy Island. The colours and textures of the piece are lovely.
