Day 12 Florence day 2

Ouch my feet! We have been on the go all day sight seeing.

First to the Palazzo Pitti via a coffee shop, which was stunning. We had another opportunity to look at LiuRuowang’s Wolves and then into the very highly ornate galaries of the Pitti. The walls and ceilings were so highly painted that they were works of art in themselves. My blip is from there. 

Then after some lunch at the Mercato Centrale we headed to the Gli Ulffizi. Here the layout of the actual building was impressive - see extra and some very well known art work was admired. After a few hours and before galary Fatigue  set in we headed back to the Mercato for an afternoon aperitif. Then on to the Chapel Medici to admire the gothic splendour of the Medici dynasty.

Phew what a day. Now back at the apartment relaxing before dinner
