Beach weather?

Any day that doesn't pour with rain is beach weather!

I had to give Andrew a lift down to Irvine and thought I'd explore the nearly beach, at Ardeer point. considering it used to be the site of an explosives factory, its quite a pleasant place for a walk with the dog. 
It was pretty overcast, and started raining just as we got back to the car. 
The water was really brown (see extra) , maybe an effect of the torrential rain yesterday?
