I sat with Basil in the back of the car which gave me the opportunity to get this closeup. We picked up Colin and drove to Staunton Harold garden centre to meet Gill and Geoffrey where we all enjoyed tea and cake on the terrace outside the café. It was the first time Gill and Geoffrey had been out at a café since the beginning of lockdown.

A very pleasant afternoon, despite the onset of drizzle around 4 pm.
