Evening Light

It's been a full on day and I've gone further than I've been since way back at the start of lockdown.  We hadn't seen Mary since the arrival of the virus so we spent a lovely hour sitting out at the front of her house catching up.  Thankfully her village community is doing a good job of looking after her.

From there we drove to Otley and Tony ventured in to the garden centre to secure a water butt for the downpipe, then we parked up at the supermarket and I went to seek out a jigsaw at the toyshop whilst Tony did the shopping.

We called in to Jen and Pete's to drop off some shopping then it was home for a much needed cuppa.  Tony went off for a bike ride whilst I began preparing the dinner.  The weather forecast is set to be another sizzling Friday so I've put some water in the pots and window boxes to see them through the day, and filled the feeders.

It's been a lovely, warm evening so we have lingered in the garden and this was the view over the village just before the sun dipped below the horizon.
