First day of the rest of my life...

Cornwall is a very special place to me, it is where as I grew up we would visit my Gran several times a year and I have many fond memories particularly around Penzance, Marizine, St Michaels Mount, St Ives and Carbis Bay.

My Dad grew up in Cornwall and we scattered his ashes there last year.

This trip was some much needed Cornwall time, I crave it often, it feels comfortable and like family to me and a way to touch base with those not with us any more.

Carbis Bay specifically was a beach we would go to ever summer the weather permitting and have MANY MANY memories from the place, which summer has which memory I have no idea.

Carbis Bay will now hold another memory for me, it will be where my boyfriend Chris asked me to marry him on 01/02/2013.... and I squealed and gave him a big yes.

I have many pictures of today of which I love, playing with my new DSLR was a big part of my holiday, however I think picture is more significant one of the day. Celebratory champagne from Carbis Bay Hotel.
