We had a very hot walk today. It was a bit drizzly first thing but by lunch time it was glorious. It's going to be a sizzler tomorrow!

'A' had booked the rest of the week off work following our holiday, so we booked a timed entry slot with our National Trust membership.

This acer had turned bright red on one branch. Early signs of autumn.
