On the fiddle!

I've had a brilliant day!  Firstly there were a pair of peregrines over the house calling to each (always great to see). Then this afternoon I went to a socially distanced music session in the garden of one of the other members of the band.  

There were only four of us that could make it, two fiddles, a melodeon and me on piano but it was most enjoyable.  We were pleased that we'd remembered the tunes (I hadn't played with anyone else since February). It was lovely to play together again. It was great to catch up with their news too.

F came along and listened to the music and wandered in S's magnificent garden. Flowers, veg and many fruit trees made it a garden to be proud of.

When it had finished we went for a short walk along the canal at  Marbury Junction before driving home.  Fish and chips from the village chippie made a good end to the day.
