A Walk On The Dry Side

I am usually struck by the light on the trees on what we call the "wet side" of the hike and bike trail.  We call it that because the creek is more visible from that branch of the trail.  This morning I was on the "dry side" of the trail and this light on the trees caught my eye.  I really loved the different shapes it made and the textures it showed on these trees!.  In the extras, I have included a shot that just made my husband and me laugh, because it looked so odd.  Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting!
