Born Again

The original building was one of the oldest private houses in Belair, and was almost falling down.  It was bought and rebuilt as a new preschool childcare centre.  All they kept was a small portion of the front wall.

I would imagine that heritage laws ensured that they rebuilt a more-or-less faithful rendition of what it was - although a hell of a lot bigger.
