Tiny Tuesday Results and AOG News
I am very late arriving at the Alternative Olympic Games. Coming from the U.S. I had to get special permission to enter and then quarantine for 14 days, all consequences of some of the Americans' irresponsibility and craziness. In addition, I had all the Tiny Tuesday entries to review this week. Whew! I am finally here.
I am one of the pool photographers who was slowed down considerably once again when entering Garden Stadium by the temperature-taking and questioning at the entrance but finally entered in time to see world champion Bella Bee in her final heat of the Hyssop Scramble event.
Bella is a Central Maryland beauty, who is always surrounded by controversy for wearing very fancy competition attire, such as this golden stole she is wearing as she races to the top of the Lavender Hyssop to claim the Gold Medal. Well done, Bella
Well done also to all those who entered the Tiny Tuesday challenge this week. I have enjoyed viewing all the images and have had a very difficult time narrowing down my favorites but have finally done so. Hearts go to the following:
Dollykgray - for a beautifully captured Kalanchoe flower
Loisbiz- for her dragonfly up close and person
Suejay50 -for a champion nectar sipping Hoverfly
Tedwin - for a tack sharp ladybug reacing a blackberry summit
Gordo- for an absolutely stunning abstract of rust
Freyjad - for a gorgeous shiny bottle fly
Ladypop - for a sunflower closeup with superb detail
Sheol - a very handsome furry bee (have I got a girl for him!)
davidc - for a photostacked antique nail
60plus for a superb mobile phone macro
