Foraging!

Walked down the village today, and took a tub with me so that I could go foraging!  Lots of blackberries about, but the really plump juicy ones were well out of reach.  Never mind - got enough to make a coulis to go with my morning yoghurt for a few days! The sky looked quite threatening facing one way, and yet white clouds and blue sky in the other direction.  Called at the butcher’s and the pharmacy on the way back and trundled up the hill with a full backpack.  In the garden I spotted a beautiful peacock butterfly on the Spirea so dashed to get my phone.  Sadly couldn’t get near enough for a decent shot without frightening it off, but wanted to record it as have never seen one in my garden before.  Warm day, and hotter to come!
