My Blue Beauty

Dear Diary,

My Rose of Sharon is covered in buds this year and this is one of the first to bloom.  I couldn't wait.  It is my favorite color of all the flowers in the garden (Don't tell the others!)  Its delicate petals are so beautiful.  Another cool morning; it's only 10C.  I love it!  I was going to take a ride up the coast today to visit another historic house but my hip isn't up to the long ride I fear.  I'll just have to enjoy the porch of this not so historic house today.
