Lackford Lakes
Back to Lackford Lakes today to take some more pictures. LDC had his big lens and spent time taking pictures of damselflies and other insects. After a long walk, we sat down on a bench and admired ducks and geese. Just metres from us there was a stick emerging from the water and both of us agreed it would be great if a kingfisher landed on it. We were enjoying a quiet moment and were utterly unprepared when, seconds later, a kingfisher landed on the stick! We had only enough time to gawp! :-)
