Today's the day ……………………. for a garden party

Brother Ron and Sister-in-law Margaret are with us for the weekend which is always a pleasure.

They are easy to entertain because we have several interests in common.  They are in the middle of planning some alterations to their Edinburgh garden and are looking for new ideas of what to plant where.  So it didn't take much persuasion to take them to the wonderful Ellenbank, home of Elizabeth McGregor's Nursery

We all made some purchases and then went for a look around the walled garden.  There are couple of extras of different areas of it, which as you can see, are looking lovely ……………………….
