It has been very hot today. I spent most of the afternoon clearing the beds behind the gravelled area in our garden. This hydrangea is in a pot on the gravel and is just starting to flower. 


We then heard the news that we are going to be in lockdown for at least another week. The rules don’t really make sense either. We can go out for a meal, go to a pub, but we cannot go with family and we cannot meet them in their gardens, but are allowed to in a public space providing we socially distance ourselves!
