2065. Malmo Whirlygig....
We bought this whirlygig (windmill) in Malmo many years ago and had great fun trying to get it home in our hand luggage because the pole it attaches to was very long and not suitable to go through security! In the end we bent the pole in half and put it into the bottom of a suitcase and carried the rest of it in our hand luggage. I saw the beautiful light again this morning in the lounge so decided to take a photo of the whirlygig and the beautiful colours in the rather blurred background.....I’m quite pleased with this one.
A very busy day today with a lot to do...and also a frustrating one as hubby is still fighting with Nintendo with regard to the save data (which they have in the cloud) for his Animal Crossing game. They are so obsessed with this game not being pirate copied that they make it almost impossible to transfer data from an old console to a new one. They charge us to use the cloud service but it doesn’t work and requires you to use their very unfriendly chat facility in order to get a resolution. We are awaiting an email from them to say that he can download his “lost” game data...which isn’t actually “lost” they are just holding it to ransom! Animal Crossing: New Horizons is apparently their second biggest seller to Mario Kart and they’ve shifted something like 22 million copies of it so I guess they have a vested interest in stopping piracy like demanding serial numbers of the console it is stored on and no facility to upgrade or move it to a new console. Hubby isn’t actually that bothered about the game now but it’s the principle of it....
We are hosting the family for lunch tomorrow and I made spaghetti bolognese in the pressure cooker and managed to burn the bottom of the pan much to hubby’s horror....but it tastes divine and the whole house smells like an Italian restaurant!
