Spring Buds

Actual buds. On trees. It's February. The 8th of February. And no kidding, there are buds opening into leaves on actual, real trees. This means a great deal to me. It signifies a shift from winter to spring. Although still round the corner, spring is definitely planning to spring.

Just as these buds were bursting into life next to a busy road, signs of spring can show up in the midst of our hectic lives.

Tonight's worship night was one to remember. Sometimes we just land on a very defined theme and tonight's was the garden. Several of us had a song, picture or thought that confirmed the same theme. There are so many levels to this but let's just say: How fantastic it is to enter God's Secret Garden where we find peace in the midst of life's craziness; growth, life, beauty - spring - in the middle of life's winter season!
