Vampire protection

Bike ride today, a repeat, up the bike trail and down Joe's Brook, this time we took a friend. Extra is a nice woman who was working in her garden who offered us cold drinks. We thanked her kindly and I was especially touched since just a minute before she made the offer a man came roaring by in a big white truck with his arm up in the air and out the window making a very rude gesture. My response is to wave and smile.  The road has almost no traffic so we weren't in his way.
