It's gin o'clock

W, ArcLight and Mr A enjoying a preprandial gin.  It's been too hot to sit out most of the day, despite putting up the shade sail, but towards the evening it clouded over and cooled down a bit.

We did a bit of exercise in the morning, but basically it has been a very sedentary day - too hot for anything more than minimal activity.  We've cooled our bedroom with the air conditioner bought at great expense back in June during the previous hot weather.  It has been standing "looking decorative" but basically functionless since then!
