I got these beautiful stones and a nice card through the post from siobhan today, I think they were a positive omen. I did some normal things - cleaned some of the house, made pancakes, put my garmin back on for the first time since may and kept busy until my meeting. and then my meeting - doc went through the side effects on my hands and is convinced they’ll recover fully. then he dropped the bombshell that he thinks I’ve done enough chemo - he cited research and he’s happy with my bloods...and I was completely blindsided, I didn’t know what to say. spoke to bee, phoned mum and we all agree to go with his recommendation. I spent the rest of the day utterly exhausted, in absolute shock and with waves of relief gradually coming over me as it sunk in. still terrified and relieved all at once. so many hurdles yet to come, but for now I’m going to just take this in.
