Today was very hot and muggy!

Hetty had an early walk and then a hot but cloudy afternoon walk. We met a gang of dogs on the 2nd walk and she had a wonderful time! There were a couple of swimmers in the group and they were having the equivalent of a pool party on drugs! Great fun to watch. Hetty got very wet without quite joining in. I took home a hyper pup!

We started our evening with G&Ts in the cutting and then wandered down to the Black Horse to meet Giuseppe, Mark, Christine and Dave. 

When we  got home,  we sat on the patio and enjoyed the bats flying around us. Giuseppe said he had never seen a bat! (Too busy gassing to notice the world around him.) I told him to just stop and look around him and he soon noticed them in abundance and was awe struck. (only taken him 54 years!!!)
