River Braan Walk
Decided it was too hot and sticky to go Munro climbing today so we kept local and did a 10km loop starting in Birnham and walked along the beautiful woodland alongside the River Braan coming out into open countryside then looping on to the HerMitage for the return leg.
Nice to be shaded under the giant Douglas firs and the oaks .
The A9 was chokka for the return so we used our local knowledge of the back roads to get to Bankfoot for ice cream at Stewart Tower Dairy.
Last Friday for our walk with the boys as it’s back to school next Friday for Cameron and Thursday for Ben.
