Sugtar Pie Honey Bunch

I have always loved the fact that through thick and thin, good times or bad, my family has always been able to find something to make us laugh. At the moment there are a few small black clouds hanging over our heads, but still we laugh.

My daughter and I turned a trip to the market into a fun evening despite the fact it was a rather ordinary undertaking. It was made even more fun when she found an over-the-top valentine display which included a stuffed elephant singing Sugar Pie Honey Bunch (made famous by the Four Tops in the 1960s) when you squeezed his trunk. Along with that he danced and his ears flapped up and down, and on the up-flap you could see they were in the shape of hearts. He danced and sang his little elephant heart out and made us laugh which wasn't really too difficult because we were having fun together anyway.

One of the best things about being a parent is seeing your kids laugh no matter how old they are.
