Sunrise over the lake

We had a fabulous break! It was supposed to be for only one night and two whole days, but it was so gorgeous by the lake that we prolonged for a second night! We had to change hotel rooms. The first one was with a small balcony and panoramic view through three windows! The second night we overlooked the port and could just see the Mont Blanc Mountain.

Wonderful walks in the early mornings, leaving around 5.45 am to catch the sunrise a bit later. This shot was taken near our hotel just as we left.
When it was at the warmer part of the day, we walked in the lakeside park in the shade of giant trees. Then another long walk at sunset again.

The food was excellent and we discovered a really delicious Merlot red wine. We ate outside at all times, even breakfast!
