Purton Hulks

After having a very early night, we were both up bright and early and took ourselves off to Purton, walking south to the Sharpness Railway Bridge footings we walked north to the other day.

The River Severn was at low tide and the Hulks were all above water, although for some it's just a matter of time...

Of course, I only took a walk-about lens with me, so when the dragonfly decided to dance with me I was quite pleased with the ability of the Sony. It's a significant crop, but there is still detail there.
