Thistledown Day.

It's far too hot for me to go out into the garden.There is a large clump of thistles in the bank of the playing field and their fruits are ripe.Little puffs of wind are blowing them off and they float in my direction on the balcony. Some have landed on the spiders webs, on the outside of the glass panels, reminding me that the window cleaning has not been done for some time.The contractors should come every four weeks!
