Parched

It is clear in the view from the upstairs window how parched our lawn has become. We know from past experience that it always comes back, so there is no need to use precious water.
Beside the window are the berries from the huge pyracantha that’s grows up the side of the house. There are very many berries on it this year, a feast for the birds.
Another very hot day. I did some gardening early, but since then I have been indoors, Housework, sewing, emailing and doing jigsaws on my iPad.
