Sticking His Neck Out

Sticking his neck out at the finishing line Gary Greylag gave it his all to secure the winning medal at the AOG (Alternative Olympic Games) in the gruelling Greylag Chase. 

It was a neck and neck finish with the stadium in uproar as his waterfowl supporters just couldn't believe it with him being at best an outsider and certainly not the favourite for the gold. Stealing the front page headlines I would think tomorrow, in the Goose Guardian, (a high honour getting Goosed as there are so many contenders) a rag for which I do a small column.
