Tango's first Show and a 1st for Gollum

Today has been a big day for us! We have been away all day for a dog dancing show and Tango had his debut!

Gollum was my first dog in the ring though and he did really well. I was pleased with him. It was the best we have performed our new routine yet. He won the class. Well done my man!

I then judged some classes and in the afternoon, it was Tango's turn. He was entered the puppy class. It is a class open for dogs between 4 and 12 months. You don't get points, but just a written critic from the judges. It is not a class where you are expected to perform a full routine - just little bits to get the dog used to being in the ring and perform for an audience.

Gollum got a red rosette for winning the class and Tango got a white rosette for completing his round ❤

Tango wasn't just a cool performing dog today - he was also a puppy, who played with the other puppies. There are more pictures in the extra :-)

Sadly I don't have video or photos of Gollum as the show was held under corona restrictions, so there were no spectators in the hall, when he was performing. I couldn't find anyone to ask to film or take pictures. 

The temperatures have been insane today - 36 degrees C. It has been so hot!
