Time Travel

It's fair to say that a car is not at the top of Mrs Smith's priorities or interests. One previous vehicle was only reluctantly given up when the grass growing inside the doorframe needed some topiary work.

The date and time have read 1997 in the current mode of transport ever since it went in for a service six months ago.

The kids like pretending it's a time machine. I asked them what they thought the world looked like in 1997?

"Everything was black and white Dad, and the boys had to go to school in bow ties" was the answer.
