The Missing Step.

Over the years, we have come across several relics within ”The Policies".

Such a relic was this very short wooden ladder which was uncovered earlier this week having been hidden for a few years by fencing and a dismantled garden shed.

The last time I saw it there was a top step. Now missing.

And the view from the ladder is shown in the extra.

Most of the morning was spent cutting the mixed species lawn, followed by a rather languorous lunch which was followed by some plant maintenance and reading a book. "The Lighthouse Stevensons".

A cold wind has risen, and we have retreated indoors.

Pat has mentioned a libation or two in the shape of a gin cocktail.
